M-Enabling Robot of the Year 2018

Call for Presentations

Companies designing, producing or distributing robots with applications for independent living, care and social collaboration are invited to submit proposals to promote their innovations at the 2018 M-Enabling Summit.  Presenting companies will have opportunities for live on-stage demonstrations in plenary session, speaking opportunities in breakout sessions and awards in the
M-Enabling Robot of the Year contest.

Five top finalists selected as M-Enabling Robot of the Year Nominees by a panel of expert reviewers, members of the M-Enabling Summit Program Committee, will have the opportunity to present their robot application live on-stage during the Opening Plenary session to all participants in the 2018 M-Enabling Summit, an audience of 600+ experts and decision-makers involved in accessible and assistive technologies and services for seniors and persons with disabilities.

Each presentation/demo is scheduled for 8 minutes.   A live vote following the presentations on stage will determine the 2018 M-Enabling Robot of the Year Awardees.  Additional speaking opportunities in break-out sessions throughout the M-Enabling Summit agenda will be available to finalist companies with submissions selected by the Program Committee.

Held in Washington, D.C., the M-Enabling Summit is the leading B2B venue for accessible and assistive solutions innovators to meet with potential partners, policy makers, distributions channels and major customers focused on promoting independent living for seniors and persons with disabilities.  Previous sessions of the M-Enabling Summit have highlighted the considerable advances of innovation allowing robots to provide unique mobility, sensorial, cognitive or emotional support in a variety of environments for independent living.

Organizations promoting aging in place strategies, smart homes and smart cities, public or commercial spaces accessible to persons with disabilities, special educators, entertainment or hospitality professionals, healthcare and financial services are among the many sectors whose services for seniors and persons with disabilities can be vastly improved by robotic applications.  Robots and robotics will be one of the main attraction of the 2018 M-Enabling Summit and prominently featured in its promotion.
